GPL: Aduana FCâ??s victory over Gold Stars was well-deserved â?? Cioaba Aristica

The head coach of Aduana FC, Ciaoba Aristica, has expressed his satisfaction with his team’s hard-fought victory over Gold Stars in the Ghana Premier League.

The team from Dormaa on Friday brushed aside the league leaders with a 2-1 win at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park to keep hopes of clinching the league title alive.

Speaking in his post-match interview after the Week 29 fixture, Cioaba Aristica argued that Aduana FC deserved the win after dominating and controlling the contest for most parts of the 90 minutes.

“I’m the first 45 minutes we controlled the game and had many chances to score, but we couldn’t score. In the second half, we pressured the opponent, and we scored. Then we suffered injuries, and the opponent came in. They scored, but our substitutions came in to help us, and we scored to win the game. Yes, I was very satisfied with the performance of my team. Gold Stars are a good team, but we controlled the game about 70%. I’m satisfied with the performance,” Cioaba Aristica said after the game.

After the win against Gold Stars, Aduana FC have climbed into the top four on 45 points, just six behind the league leaders.
